About usHEMAV is a start up placed in Barcelona (Spain) that has been working from its beginning in the design and construction of new UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). HEMAV’s aim is to develop, innovate and commercialize UAV technology in order to offer integral solutions for civil UAV applications. The company's goal is
to offer UAV-based services.
The technology developed, are innovative UAVs that have higher performances (cost, efficiency and usability) than similar systems used in the current market. That’s why HEMAV pretends to use its UAV models (some of them, in patent process) in a novel and expanding market statewide and globally. The platforms are able to tackle wide variety of air missions in a practical, economic and sustainable environmental way. Those missions will be linked to civil aerial observation and our UAVs will become the best solution to carry them out. HEMAV pretends to make himself known using new communication technologies, performing digital advertising campaigns to promote his own protected high technology regarding his competition. HEMAV wants to be present in all the high technology events and in the most rigorous scientific-technical channels. As a service commercialization level, HEMAV will develop integral solutions according to needs and specific conditions for each costumer, requirement and mission. |

The Origins
HEMAV idea emerged from two components of the group both of them aeronautical engineering students at that time with the interest of building something able to fly before finishing their studies. Two or three meetings were needed so as to mature the project enough to mark the main guidelines. A week after, they started looking for people with the same interests that wanted to dedicate their time to the project. This was April 2011, since then, around twenty different people, aeronautical and industrial engineers have participated in the project, some of them only for few days helping in concrete tasks. It has to be also mentioned that some of the group members have participated in UAV-related projects in the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), what helped in providing the group a solid base of knowledge and contacts for the first steps.
